Insurance is a wonderful thing. What would you do in case of a disaster without insurance? If you've got a beloved pet that is as much a part of your family as a child, you needpet insurance. If you've got a home that might burn down, you need home insurance. If you drive, you had better have car insurance or risk several hundred (if not thousands) of dollars in penalties and fines. Take a few minutes every year and grab a free rate comparison from several companies to make sure that you're still getting the best deal available to you- companies have the tendency to change their rates without warning, in response to their statistics. Don't be afraid to look around. The only thing to be afraid of is having no insurance; it takes less than a second for the chain reaction of an accident to land you in a position that requires either insurance or a quick several thousand dollar transfer from your carefully managed savings to repair what has been done.
